The busiest season for tourists in Belize runs from November to May, with December to April marking the dry season. During this time of year the amount of rainfall is less than in the summer months, although still common. Temperatures are also cooler, and due to the fact that it is winter in the Northern Hemisphere, many decide to visit Belize during this time.
The most extreme months are February and March on the dry end, and April in May on the hot end. Coastal towns see an average temperature of 70 to 80 degrees during the dry season, but heat up to the 90s in April and May.
June to December are marked by hot and humid weather, but they
also see less tourists, so if you are looking for a more secluded vacation, try coming during this time. August to October is never a good idea, because of the increased hurricane activity.
It’s best to take a look at the weather patterns for the places you want to visit and then decide what is best for you and your trip. You can check out the current Belize weather here.
