Belize Tourism Expo

The Belize Tourism Industry Association is at it again with another Belize Tourism Expo (BETEX). BETEX, which will be held from July 30 – August 4, 2008, is an opportunity for international travel trade professionals to get together with Belize-based suppliers, and the press in order to learn more about Belize and experience different aspects of the country first hand. By means of these personal encounters and hands-on education travel agents and wholesalers can be in a better position to manage theirBel4Image business.

During the five day event, four days will be spent partaking in countrywide expeditions, with 10 different itinerary options being offered. In addition a number of cultural shows and social functions are planned which will help to introduce those present to Belize’s diverse culture.

BETEX is a great place to become better acquainted with the country of Belize and its different business opportunities. Whether you are looking to sell Belize as a travel destination or invest in some avenue of local commerce, the many seminars and expeditions arranged by the Belize Tourism Industry Association will help you get a better handle on your venture.   2. The water taxi only costs $15.00 US one way and $27.50 US. The ride is totally worth it, as you get an up close look at some of Belize’s marine life.
